Clean & Minimalistic Cockpit

User-Centered Design
Fly-By-Intent
Controls
Fly-By-Intent is AIR ONE's proprietary flight control system, designed to make personal aviation more intuitive. The system translates the pilot's intended direction into the precise control inputs needed to achieve it.
Using a single control stick, pilots command pitch, roll, yaw, and altitude while onboard flight logic manages the complexity behind the scenes. Built-in envelope protection and stability functions help keep the aircraft within safe operating limits, allowing pilots to focus on flying, not managing the aircraft.

Clean &
Minimalistic
Cockpit
The AIR ONE cockpit is built around a simple principle: remove everything that doesn't need to be there.
Controls are reduced to the essentials: a control stick and a clean, intuitive display, while the layout keeps critical information in the pilot's natural field of view.
This minimalist approach enhances both safety and usability. Fewer controls reduce distractions, a cleaner interface speeds decision-making, and every detail is designed to help pilots stay focused on what matters most: flying.
User-Centered Design
Every design decision in AIR ONE was made to serve a purpose. The flowing exterior form is the product of aerodynamic optimization, structural efficiency, and the practical constraints of an aircraft that must fold, store, and operate across a wide range of environments. The visual result is clean and confident: a machine that looks as capable as it performs.

Precision-engineered surfaces, seamless transitions, and premium finishes deliver a level of refinement, fit, and finish never before seen in personal aviation.

Safety Envelope
AIR ONE operates within a precisely defined safety envelope - a set of flight parameters that the aircraft actively monitors and enforces in real time. The envelope covers airspeed, bank angle, pitch attitude, and load factor, ensuring the aircraft never enters a condition that exceeds its structural or aerodynamic design limits.

By automating the management of flight boundaries, AIR ONE removes one of the most common sources of pilot error: inadvertently exceeding aircraft limits during high-workload moments.

Propulsion Redundancy
AIR ONE's distributed electric propulsion architecture delivers precise control, enhanced efficiency, and exceptional reliability through independently managed propulsion units. By distributing thrust across multiple motors, the system provides smooth handling, improved redundancy, and consistent aircraft performance across the mission profile. This reduced mechanical complexity provides a quieter, simpler, and more reliable propulsion solution.

Power Redundancy
AIR ONE's energy architecture is designed so that no single battery failure compromises flight. Power is distributed across multiple independent battery packs, allowing the aircraft to continue operating even if one pack is degraded.
Onboard systems continuously manage energy distribution, balance load across the packs, and provide real-time battery status to the pilot. Redundancy isn't a feature. It's built into every layer of the design.

Airframe Parachute (BRS)
AIR ONE is equipped with a whole-aircraft Ballistic Recovery System (BRS) for emergencies where normal flight recovery is not possible. In the unlikely event that exceeds the design redundency, a single activation deploys the parachute bringing the aircraft and its occupants safely to the ground. Designed for rapid deployment, the system provides an additional layer of protection when it's needed most.

Enhanced Situational Awareness
AIR ONE's avionics system maintains a continuous, real-time picture of the aircraft's environment and operational state. Onboard sensors monitor flight parameters, system health, and surrounding airspace, surfacing relevant information to the pilot through a clear, prioritized display. The system distinguishes between routine data and conditions requiring attention, ensuring pilots are never overwhelmed - and never uninformed.
Protection functions are integrated directly into the avionics architecture. Automated alerts flag developing conditions before they become critical, and flight envelope protections respond faster than any pilot could. The result is an awareness system that acts as a second set of eyes - always monitoring, always processing, and always ready to support the pilot's decision-making when it matters most.

Seats
AIR ONE features two side-by-side seats designed around a sports car-inspired cockpit experience. Ergonomically contoured for comfort and support, the cabin combines premium materials and thoughtful design to deliver a refined personal flight experience.

The seating position is optimized for visibility, control, and comfort. Pilots enjoy an upright posture with panoramic forward sightlines, while passengers experience unobstructed views of the sky and landscape. The ergonomic cockpit layout complements Fly-by-Intent controls, reducing workload and creating a more intuitive flying experience.

Panoramic Canopy
The AIR ONE canopy creates an immersive flight experience with a panoramic glass enclosure designed for exceptional visibility and openness. High-clarity materials and minimal framing maximize outward visibility while maintaining structural integrity, a clean aerodynamic profile, and intuitive access for both occupants.

Baggage
AIR ONE features thoughtfully integrated storage solutions throughout the cabin. Dedicated compartments provide space for personal items and travel essentials, making the aircraft practical for both short trips and longer journeys.

Storage is seamlessly integrated throughout AIR ONE’s cabin, with intelligently placed compartments that keep essential items accessible and belongings securely stored.

Avionics
Display
AIR ONE's avionics are designed around clarity. A clean, integrated display presents only the information a pilot needs - airspeed, altitude, battery status, heading, and system health. The layout is intuitive by design, reducing cognitive load so pilots can stay focused on the flight.
The avionics system integrates directly with AIR ONE's Fly-By-Intent flight logic, providing real-time feedback on aircraft behavior and automating background functions.

Accessing the Aircraft
Entering AIR ONE is designed to feel natural. The canopy opens fully upward, providing a wide, unobstructed opening that makes entry and exit seamless.
The aircraft's ground stance is low and stable, with the fuselage positioned close to the surface for easy boarding.
Folded
AIR ONE's folding wing mechanism redefines what it means to own a personal aircraft. With wings fully folded, the aircraft fits within the footprint of a standard parking space, making it possible to store at home, in a private garage, or at any facility without dedicated hangar space.
The folding mechanism is engineered for reliability and repeatability. Structural locking systems engage and are verifiable from the cockpit before takeoff, ensuring the wings are always secured in the correct position.

Power
Built around an all-electric architecture, AIR ONE's power system combines intelligent energy distribution with distributed propulsion to create a highly responsive and efficient flight platform. Power is continuously managed across the aircraft to optimize performance, maintain system balance, and support smooth flight behavior.

Propulsion
AIR ONE's distributed electric propulsion architecture delivers precise control, enhanced efficiency, and exceptional reliability through independently managed propulsion units. By distributing thrust across multiple motors, the system provides smooth handling, improved redundancy, and consistent aircraft performance across the mission profile. This reduced mechanical complexity provides a quieter, simpler, and more reliable propulsion solution built for demanding operations.

Aerodynamics
AIR ONE was engineered around a simple principle: utilization of airflow in forward flight. During cruise, approximately 60% of total lift is generated aerodynamically by the wings, reducing propulsion power demand and improving efficiency.

By avoiding tilt-motor architectures and other complex transition mechanisms, AIR ONE eliminates unnecessary weight and mechanical complexity while remaining optimized for its target cruise performance. The result is a simpler, lighter aircraft that achieves efficient forward flight through intelligent aerodynamic design.
Flight Dynamics
AIR ONE is built around an intentionally minimal set of moving parts. The only critical moving components are its 8 electric motors, which generate both lift and thrust. There are no traditional control surfaces or retractable landing gear.
Instead, aircraft control is achieved through distributed propulsion, with coordinated thrust across the motors enabling precise maneuvering. By eliminating conventional mechanical control systems or tilting the motors, AIR ONE reduces complexity while maintaining responsive, stable flight through coordinated thrust management.
