As demand accelerates for next-generation electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, AIR is proud to unveil its new 32,000 sq. ft. production facility. A major milestone in our journey to redefine how the world moves. Located in central Israel, this purpose-built site is designed to scale our aircraft production capabilities, support simultaneous assembly of up to six eVTOLs, and significantly shorten delivery timelines. From day one, the facility strengthens our ability to meet growing demand for both our uncrewed cargo aircraft and the two-seat piloted AIR ONE, which is on track for Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) qualification under the FAA’s upcoming MOSAIC regulatory update.

A Home Built for Scalable, Real-World Aviation

This new facility isn’t just a building, it’s the foundation for the future of electric flight. Designed from the ground up with scalability and efficiency in mind, it includes:

  •  A full assembly line for AIR’s modular eVTOL platforms

  • An engineering and systems integration lab

  • A composites workshop and paint shop

  • A flight readiness zone for in-house ground testing

The site also serves as the template for our upcoming U.S.-based manufacturing hub, which will feature an automated line for high-volume production as we expand into our largest market.

Bridging Today’s Operations with Tomorrow’s Vision

“This is a pivotal moment for AIR,” said Rani Plaut, CEO and Co-Founder. “As we scale production, we’re not just building aircraft, we’re shaping a world where air mobility is practical, personal, and possible across a wide range of missions. This facility brings that future closer.”

Led by VP of Operations Roi Peleg, the transition to the new site is on track to be completed by the end of the summer.

Real Operations. Real Deliveries. Real Progress.

AIR’s new facility strengthens our ability to deliver where it matters:

  • 15 uncrewed cargo eVTOLs are scheduled for delivery this year

  • Our aircraft have already completed BVLOS cargo missions in remote conditions

  • A contract with the U.S. Air Force’s Agility Prime program is actively underway

  • Over 2,500 preorders have been placed for the piloted AIR ONE

Every mission flown feeds directly into the evolution of both our piloted and uncrewed aircraft, thanks to their shared modular architecture - a rare and powerful advantage in today’s AAM market.

Built for Integration, Designed for Growth

“AIR’s DNA is rooted in modularity and real-world deployment,” said Chen Rosen, CTO and Co-Founder. “This new space gives us the flexibility to grow our capacity, expand our team, and move faster - all while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.”

By assembling proven, Tier 1 subsystems from our global supply chain, AIR keeps production nimble, scalable, and efficient - just like our aircraft.

What's Next?

This facility marks the beginning of a broader global production strategy. While we continue to expand our footprint and capabilities, one thing remains constant: our commitment to delivering reliable, real-world eVTOL platforms - now, not years from now.

Stay tuned as we continue to grow our team, scale deliveries, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in advanced air mobility.
